Musical Strings Art Project

To help promote the upcoming Smithsonian Exhibit, New Harmonies: Celebrating American Roots Music, the Perry Arts Center is seeking the talents of local artists to help promote the Exhibit through its Musical Strings Art Project. The program is open to high school art students as well as adult artists. Artists wishing to participate will be furnished a cutout of a guitar or fiddle. They may use any medium of expression to embellish the instrument cutout, using painting techniques or even mosaics to create their own unique design. Click here for additional information.
